At LA Reptile Lounge, our mission is simple: make high-quality bioactive reptile supplies and naturalistic habitat materials accessible and affordable for keepers who want the very best for their animals.
Our work is grounded in a deep respect for the reptiles and amphibians we are privileged to care for. As lifelong reptile keepers ourselves, we understand that responsible husbandry goes far beyond simply housing an animal. It means creating an environment that supports its physical health, natural behaviors, and long-term wellbeing.
We believe that naturalistic reptile husbandry should be the standard in captive care. When reptiles and amphibians are kept in thoughtfully designed environments that replicate their natural habitats, the benefits are significant. Many of the products needed to build healthy naturalistic habitats were either inconsistent in quality, difficult to source, or prohibitively expensive for hobbyists who genuinely wanted to provide better environments for their animals.
Out of that need, LA Reptile Lounge was created.
Founded by passionate keepers behind Southbay Cresteds and Hollywood Hills Exotics, our goal is to provide carefully selected bioactive reptile substrate, clean-up crews, enclosure materials, and habitat building supplies that make naturalistic setups easier to create and maintain. In addition to curating trusted products, we also produce select items ourselves in small batches by hand to ensure the highest level of quality and consistency.
As we’ve grown, we’ve expanded our offerings to include essential products like food, supplements, and enclosure accessories. Each one carefully curated to meet our standards. Our goal is to make it easy for keepers to find everything they need in one place, without having to compromise on quality or spend time searching across multiple sources.
Every product we offer reflects years of hands-on experience designing and maintaining bioactive enclosures for a diverse range of reptiles and amphibians. We only carry products that we personally use and trust for our own animal, nothing makes it onto our shelves unless it meets the same standards we hold for our own collections.
